So. I did a workshop this Saturday. It was my first real workshop (I mean I charged fees) after this dry run.
10 women, 3 kids, 1 guy friend, an efficient maid, and a super supportive family helped me pull it off. They allowed me to test a zillion versions of my recipes, they listened when my teeth chattered and they tried not to curl their toes when I bit off my nails. (No, I don’t really do it.) If the feedback I have received so far is anything to by, it was a hit. By the end of the day, my participants were on a serious sugar high! Just thought you might like to see pictures of the stuff we cooked:
Mini Lemon and Vanilla Cupcakes with Vanilla Cream Cheese Frosting
Mini Mango Pavlovas
Mini Pavlova Meringue
Mango Pavlova–we ate this one and the participants took the minis home.
Dark Chocolate and Cointreau Mousse with Orangettes
Orange and Pineapple Panna Cotta
No Bake Blueberry Cheesecake
Happy participants!
Thanks to everyone who helped spread the word and to those who came over! And thanks to Gourmet Company for handing out discount vouchers to my participants. Watch this space for more details on the next class.
Is there anything from my blog that you would like to see demonstrated? I’d love ideas for the next workshop!

Congratulations on your first and, by the look of it, very successful dessert class. What a bummer I missed it! I would have loved to join in. Maybe nxt time

This looks so delicious. Which city are you based at? I’d love to attend one of these if possible. And is that your kitchen? I love what you’ve done with that living space.
